The Stage 2 package is intended for modified engines running 230cc or larger injectors and an upgraded turbocharger. OBS Fuel System Notice

1994–1997 OBS 7.3L Powerstroke trucks require an electric fuel pump conversion.

The Stage 2 camshaft does not have the eccentric lobe required to operate the factory mechanical fuel pump. An electric fuel system such as an AirDog, FASS, or equivalent setup will be required.

Optional Ceramic-Coated Pistons

Ceramic coating is available for the piston crowns to provide an additional thermal barrier for demanding performance applications.

Ceramic-coated or otherwise machined pistons are non-exchangeable. Be certain of the required piston size before ordering.

Optional De-Lipped Fuel Bowls

Piston fuel bowl de-lipping is available for race-oriented engine combinations.

Important: De-lipped fuel bowls are intended for race applications and may result in additional fuel haze during cold starts and idle.

Piston Sizing – Read Before Ordering

Your engine block must be inspected and the cylinder bores measured by a qualified machine shop before ordering pistons.

Do not select an oversize piston based on assumptions about cylinder wear. The machine shop should determine the required final bore size before the piston size is selected.

Changes to piston size after an order has been processed may result in additional restocking and shipping fees.

Ceramic-coated or machined pistons cannot be exchanged, making accurate cylinder measurements especially important before ordering.
