Important Installation Information
1994–1997 OBS Trucks:
An electric fuel pump conversion is required. This camshaft does not have the eccentric lobe required to operate the factory mechanical fuel pump.
Piston-to-Valve Clearance:
Fly-cut pistons are not typically required with this camshaft; however, piston-to-valve clearance should always be checked during assembly. Engine machining, cylinder head work, gasket thickness, piston configuration, and other modifications can affect available clearance.
Tuning:
This camshaft is compatible with both factory and aftermarket tuning.
