7.3L Powerstroke Stage 2 Billet Cam & Beehive Valve Spring Kit – 1994–2003
Performance Camshaft & Valvetrain Upgrade for High-Performance 7.3L Builds
Take your 1994–2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke to the next level with the Stage 2 Billet Camshaft and Beehive Valve Spring Kit. Designed for hot street, high-boost, and competition applications, this combination provides a more aggressive cam profile along with the valve spring control needed for demanding performance builds.
The Stage 2 camshaft is manufactured from USA 4130 billet steel and paired with high-quality PAC Racing beehive valve springs to provide a strong, performance-focused valvetrain package.
Stage 2 Billet Camshaft
The Stage 2 camshaft is designed to improve the power characteristics of modified 7.3L Powerstroke engines, with a profile intended to provide improved torque, horsepower, turbo response, and upper-RPM performance.
Camshaft Specs:
-
Duration: 190° Intake / 200° Exhaust
-
Valve Lift: .430" Intake / .438" Exhaust
-
Lobe Center Line: 107°
-
Manufactured from USA 4130 billet steel
-
Designed for hot street and competition applications
-
Intended to improve turbo spool-up and broaden the usable power range
-
Designed to help reduce EGTs in properly matched combinations
-
Lifetime replacement warranty
Stage 2 Beehive Valve Spring Kit
Designed for high-performance 7.3L Powerstroke engines running increased boost, larger injectors, and more aggressive engine combinations.
The beehive design provides increased seat pressure and improved valve control to help prevent the valves from being forced off their seats under high-boost conditions. These springs are manufactured by PAC Racing Springs and include the necessary locators and retainers.
Valve Spring Specifications:
-
Installed Height: 1.880"
-
Seat Load: 155 lbs @ 1.880"
-
Open Height: 1.280"
-
Open Load: 377 lbs
-
Recommended Maximum Valve Lift: 0.600"
-
Spring Rate: 370 lbs/in
-
Coil Bind Height: 1.210"
-
Locators and retainers included
Designed for Serious 7.3L Builds
This cam and spring combination is an excellent choice for engines equipped with:
-
High-boost turbocharger setups
-
Larger performance injectors
-
250cc+ injector applications
-
Modified street trucks
-
Hot street builds
-
Competition trucks
-
Higher-RPM engine combinations
Important Installation Information
1994–1997 OBS Trucks:
This camshaft does not have the mechanical fuel pump eccentric lobe. OBS trucks using the factory mechanical fuel pump will require an electric fuel pump conversion.
Billet Pushrods Required:
Upgraded billet pushrods are required when using this valve spring package.
Piston-to-Valve Clearance:
The Stage 2 camshaft is designed as a drop-in application that does not normally require fly-cut pistons. However, piston-to-valve clearance must always be verified during assembly. Engine machining, cylinder head work, gasket thickness, piston selection, and other modifications can affect available clearance.
