Important Installation Information
1994–1997 OBS Trucks:
An electric fuel pump conversion is required. This camshaft does not have the eccentric lobe required to operate the factory mechanical fuel pump.
Piston-to-Valve Clearance:
Fly-cut pistons are not typically required; however, piston-to-valve clearance must always be checked during engine assembly. Cylinder head machining, block machining, gasket thickness, piston configuration, and other engine modifications can affect available clearance.
